Former US Airways Executive Vice-President, Marketing and Planning Bruce Ashby joined IndiGo as their Chief Executive Officer.The airline likes to fly to countries in the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and South West Asia when it completes its five year term on August 2011.
As a low cost carrier , IndiGo Airlines does not offer any complimentary meal service to its passengers. But it does offer a buy-on-board food service where items such as sandwiches, parathas, cookies, nuts, soft drinks and mineral water can be purchased. Purified drinking water is provided free of charge.
